IA76 Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 (edited) Hi The network consists of:- ADSL internet connection No 1 via a Draytek 2820 router ADSL internet connection No 2 via a Draytek 2820 router SBS 2011 server Server 2008 server Phone server 60 IP phone handsets 60 desktops All equipment is connected via unmanaged switched and all DHCP is via Draytek router No1. How would we set this up so that all the internet traffic from the phone server is via internet connection 2 and everything else uses internet connection 1? Edited January 21, 2012 by IA76
Duke5A Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Use DHCP to point to the gateway on router one, and set a static address on the phone server and give it the gateway for router two.
Jona Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 If your trying to route phone calls out over the uncontended internet line, assuming your phone system uses SIP, you probably only need to give the the phone server a default gateway of router 2 as that will be the device establishing the sip session with your voice-over-ip provider.
