bensewell Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 Hiya all, I'm working on our new joomla based website for Royston High and i would like to add a custom footer to the main joomla template. I'm pretty good at HTML / CSS but i've not been heavily into Joomla for about two years. I have a Fireworks file that has the footer graphic in, basically 4 pictures rolled into one footer bar. The dimensions of the file are: 76px Wide 50px High I was wondering if i could either put them at the bottom of the template where it says Edugeek or embed above or below the bit where it has the school copyright logo? Any ideas? I must get round to analysing this template. Its definately the best one i've seen so far though, well done!! See pictures below. Cheers, Ben
Guest Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 To put the footer in the white space make a new module with the image in and publish to position user5. Make sure the image is no wider than 400px though To put in underneth just overlay a transparent version on the footer.jpg file of the template.
Benji1 Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 I would like to do the same. Use the footer to display the logos of the school. Did anyone manage this ? If so how ? I'm quite new to joomla.
