Rick was a Plt Sgt in my company on Herrick 12. He was leading his platoon as the satellite group on a patrol with FSG Plt (me and the lads) when he stepped on an IED.

This man has endured sheer hell in the last almost two years, and is now raising money for others like him. He is a true hero, and he battled back from very very close to death.

 

If all you can give is 10p, then it will be a worthy donation. If you have nothing to donate, then donate a few moments to think about the sacrifices made by these guys.

Fellow edugeekers...

 

In my spare time I run a local air rifle club.

On the 19th August we'll be holding a charity open day where anyone and everyone can come down and give it a whirl.

We'll be donating all proceeds to the above cause, and every penny will be split between the listed charities.

 

 

Anyone localish who fancies a day out, you're more than welcome to come along.

There will be food, drink, fun and an opportunity to meet up with a few guys who know first hand what a difference every donation makes.
