Bulk Resize Photos

I thought I had a tool here that would do this, and create a thumbnail page as it went. Can't find it though; must be at home and I can't remember what it is called. I'll be back...

I feel im missing an important part of a teckys life. I dont resize photos !!

 

No, nor did I!

 

But, with limited server space and a few thousand of these (and growing exponetially)...

We have quotas on personal data but not on shared drives so staff just stick their pictures there instead.!

 

I usually resize to 1920 x 1200 as that is the maximum resolution of any monitor we have, the data size is greatly reduced and pictures usually look fine when printed A4. Most usually want to put them on PowerPoints anyway - or as a tiny image on a single page Word document...

We don't let staff keep photos in their Home drives. All photos must be stored on the Media share, and so we too need to resize.

Does this tool work on W7? The XP one is good but doesnt work in 7.
