dany2010 Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 (edited) Hi, Remembering back to one of the lectures that i had i can remember them saying that one slow device would slow the entire network. So if i had a 10/100 device on a 10/100/1000 network then the whole network would run on 10/100. I believe we were on the the topic of error detection. Is this correct? We have got 10/100 switches and getting speeds on 1.**mbps so im guessing its running at 10mbps. Many thanks. p.s. We also have vlan's going over a 1mb connection. Edited January 18, 2012 by dany2010
