[android] Android 4.0 - Creating folders?

Hi,

 

In the Gallery App on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus ( Guess it's the same on other android 4.0 phones ) how do I create folders?

I have a Camera folder with all the photo's I've taken. I want to organise these photos into folders, but I cant see a way of creating folders to move the photos to.

 

Can this be done?

You'll have to use a file manager to create the folders on your internal storage or SD card or connect the usb and organise the photos.

 

I can recommend Explorer or Root Explorer by the same publisher if you want to pay for a root access file manager.

Seems strange android doesn't offer a simple way of creating folders straight from the OS?

I would suggest downloading a 3rd party application from the Android marketplace, such as Astro which will allow you access to the files on the device. Go to the DCIM folder on your phone and open the Camera folder. You will now be able to create folders and move files into them.
