PROJECT BORG: Node upgrade requests.

As you may [or may not] know, I've been given the go-ahead for project borg

 

The nodes are pretty shoddy, and that's being polite. So, I have a cheeky request.

 

If anyone has old RAM, Video and/or Graphics cards they don't want, could they see fit to send them my way.

 

And by "don't want" I mean "don't expect payment for."

 

 

Yes, I know I could go and buy cards and such, but this experiment is still in the pre-alpha stages. [i have literally done nothing yet, and won't until Monday.]

 

I'm not looking for beastly upgrades, just something to get the nodes to the point where they can be left for a while before proper upgrades are bought. [Or so they don't explode because they're underpowered.]

 

Ideally I'm looking for 10 video cards, 10 sound cards and 10 [or 20] sticks of RAM so everything is specced [is that a real word?] the same.

 

 

If anyone can supply everything I will name the controller, all nodes and my first born after you.

Have lots of 256mb DDR memory if that's of any use (although if they RM F series they're likely to be 2 x DDR slots only, if they are DDR at all.)

I'm not sure. I know one is 512mb, but IIRC that's split into 2 256mb sticks.
