Hello all,

I'm at a school that has one of these 'all in one' Smart Whiteboards, including speakers and the projector. Using Windows 7 SP1 x86 and Smart Notebook 10.8.

The issue is with the sound. It uses USB audio and this is picked up by Windows 7. When playing a youtube clip for example - you can see the audio volume moving, but nothing's coming out the speakers.

I've verified the wiring (comparing it with a similar board) and it all appears correct. When removing the USB connection, audio out of the PC works fine (it has a built in speaker). The whiteboard speakers appear to get some power from USB but also an external AC adapter.

The projector itself and whiteboard interactivity are working correctly. It was working OK about a month ago and then just stopped for no reason.

If anyone has any ideas or a wiring diagram/manual it'd be much appreciated. My hunch (at the moment) is the AC adapter isn't working properly and isn't delivering power to the speakers, although it is displaying a green light. I say this as I've seen similar problems before with AC Adapters for laptops.
