Would you eat a black burger?

Apparently Star Wars are venturing into the fast food market, along with a black-bunned burger making people speculate what the heck is in it to give it that colour.

There's a tribe on the shores of one of the Rift valley lakes whose diet is 99% vegetable. Every year there's a release of flying insects, a bit like our flying ants. Everyone in the tribe swishes bat like inplements around to catch as many as they can. They are then scraped off, squigged up into balls and fried into burgers. They are pretty black but the kids seem to enjoy them.

I think it's a food colouring added to the dough.
