john Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 Geez, they want the earth but pay peanuts! I wouldn't accept that for Network Manager, techy possibly, infact yeah I do, but not Network Manager, I don't blaim you for leaving if thats what you are paid.
Midget Posted May 9, 2007 Author Posted May 9, 2007 It is in Wales though, so cheaper living. AHHHH HAHAHAHA! You're joking right? You're not? You really believe it's cheaper here? You can get a whole 2-3bed house in Milton Keynes for £600/month rent. That would maybe get you a flat in Cardiff, and it won't even have a balcony.
Andi Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 I second that motion! Wages are less here but cost of living certainly isn't! A pint down here costs the same as it does in London.
StewartKnight Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 Try Cumbria too..... Average wage between £12k - £15k Average house price £220k Do the math! People with 2nd homes should not be allowed to snap up cheaper properties!
Midget Posted May 10, 2007 Author Posted May 10, 2007 Try Cumbria too..... Cumbria ey? Do you live near C*ckermouth? *giggles like a school girl* sorry. places in West Wales such as Llanelli^ is the worst for it because of all you eeengleesh pigdogs taking all the small homes to use as 2weeks/year holiday homes, meaning that young people are unable to live in the areas that their family have been brought up in for many generations. ^ Pronouced chhhhhhhlaaaan eh ccchhhhleeeh
