GoodheadDC Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 We use Lite touch to deploy windows. It has the options to promt you to put in the computer name, how ever this option was disbaled by a previous tech and those of us that are left would rather it be turned on. None of us have setup Lite touch before, so not sure how to change the option. Would also be nice if it auto joined the domain. Has any one used lite touch and know how to turn these options on?
PiqueABoo Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Best guess (might be wrong): Go to the Control folder in your distribution share, look in bootstrap.ini for "SkipComputerName=YES" and change that to NO, then regenerate the WinPE boot image.
