[android] Disable Facebook location

Does anyone know how to disable Facebook from posting location (and wasting time switching on GPS to do so!) from a 'droid?

I'd be interested in knowing if this was possible too. At the moment I just turn off GPS completely on my phone unless I'm actually using it.

I need the GPS most of the time for my speed limit app so it would be inconvienent to sort it that way.

 

And its more to do with the fact that Mr Z has gone to considerable effort to hide and stop (certainly 'droid) users from doing this

My Facebook app doesn't seem to post my location even though my gps and location services are turned on. Cant seem to find a setting for this though.

LBE privacy guard tells me when apps try to get location (amongst other things). Tick 'no' and 'always' and facebook will never know where you are. It's free but might need root access (mine has always has been rooted so don't know if it's req'd).
