Hi everyone,

This looks like excellent project but I’ve got some problems with it. Using MS server 2008 (just a member server on the domain) and IIS7 with HAP+ 7.7 (installed on two servers with the same result). After completing configuration, going to ~/hap/setup.aspx, on the “General” tab - “IIS7 Integrated Pipeline” and “Services Activated” options have red cross (not sure how to rectify this); on “Active Directory” tab after entering “Domain UPN”, admin username and password and I’m getting “Not Found” pop up.

If I go to ~/hap I’m getting login screen, logging in with my domain credentials getting the following error:

Server Error in '/hap' Application. ________________________________________

Security Exception

Description: The application attempted to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy. To grant this application the required permission please contact your system administrator or change the application's trust level in the configuration file.

Exception Details: System.Security.SecurityException: The source was not found, but some or all event logs could not be searched. Inaccessible logs: Security.

Source Error:

The source code that generated this unhandled exception can only be shown when compiled in debug mode. To enable this, please follow one of the below steps, then request the URL:

1. Add a "Debug=true" directive at the top of the file that generated the error. Example:

<%@ Page Language="C#" Debug="true" %>

or:

2) Add the following section to the configuration file of your application:

Note that this second technique will cause all files within a given application to be compiled in debug mode. The first technique will cause only that particular file to be compiled in debug mode.

Important: Running applications in debug mode does incur a memory/performance overhead. You should make sure that an application has debugging disabled before deploying into production scenario.

Hi, I'm having the same issue.

Just used the v7 to v7.8 upgrade and it broke. It's been running happily for months so it's something in the upgrade. The article above is 6 years old, for server 2003 and references a registry node that doesn't exist and a support page from microsoft that has been removed. Any additional help would be much appreciated.

Yep, mine's identical except for the destination path after \hap\
