Hi

 

I have been looking at new servers for a few years now, and the school has been approached by Syscap who have offered to supply, sell a part of them and then lease the rest of the payments over x years.

 

The person at the school who they approached wasn't very clear if it was a least to own or a lease to rent, but she did mention that we could upgrade after the x years.

 

Has anyone dealt with this company? Or has dealt with this sort of purchasing before?

Hi Darren,

 

I work at Syscap it sounds like a Operating lease structure which would mean you would rent the kit and after the intial period (normally 3 years) you can choose to extend or refresh etc.. There are lots of options at the end of the term so very flexible.

 

We have been working within the education sector for 15 years and specialise within Schools.
