We become an academy next year.

 

Anyone on here already done so and moved away from Warwick for their Internet?

 

If so who have you gone with and how easy was it to do? How long from start to finish did it take and what are doing about firewall / filtering?

Not in Warwickshire but just going through the process of doing it in West Sussex. Lead time on a Leased line is 90 days. We are going with Global AXS for this and then are having a Smoothwall Advanced Firewall along with Filtering and SMTP filtering.

 

Smoothwall was as soon as a I placed the order the license on the box was turned from Trail until the End date (3 year deal).We are going live on the leased Line in April when the LEA line is going to be disconnected, but it will be in place from early March so we will have around a month to tinker with the firewall (although we are starting the basic's now).

Global are great not had any downtime from them and it was installed last April plus not even had any random hickups either
