Live@edu has been great for all our email needs since we installed it but one thing that has bugged me is that its SMTP feed needs TLS authentication and is on a non standard port.

This means we cant use it for our photocopier, sharepoint or our finance system which require an SMTP server with no authentication.

So does anyone know any SMTP services out there that I can pay for?

What @Domino said! We use our smoothwall box to relay internal stuff from copiers etc but a small linux box or smtp service on a web server internally should fix this issue quite quickly.

I use authsmtp.com simple and cheap for your requirements.

Thanks I have now setup a local SMTP server relaying through gmail.

It seems to work with most apps like the climate control and our finance system but not sharepoint for some reason.

I'll see if the paid service is any better, looks very cheap.
