We run a moodle server here which is integrated with our Active Directory server, and with SIMS.

We want it integrated with Google Apps also, so that accounts on Google Apps sync with those in Moodle. So, bascially, when a user is created in Active Directory, they can log in to Moodle and then their Google Apps account is generated.

We've been working with our Moodle supplier and they have now come back to us basically saying it can't be done, as we already have our Google Apps platform populated with the users (with the same username's as in Active Directory).

Can we do this? Or are we going to have to go down the 'link AD to Google Apps directly' route?

I think moodlerooms had a tool to do this in 1.9

I personally think having both google apps and moodle linked to AD is a better than 'chaining' the creation process.
