benjie Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 (edited) The link below is a video on youtube of a concept car by Toyota called the Fun vii. This is either a joke or a very far off mad design! Toyota Fun Vii - YouTube! There is also a spelling mistake in the video on the information page they have put infomation. Plus at 1:28 in the bottom left hand comer there is a Microsoft logo! We have enough accidents on our roads without having Microsoft contribute to them. Enjoy having a laugh at this video. Edited December 6, 2011 by benjie
DevilsAdvocate Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Crazy stuff. I hope cars NEVER get like that to be totally honest.
LosOjos Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Just what we need, a pron star sat nav and hallucination inducing TV-car.
SYNACK Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Do Toyota sell LSD as well? Yes, their dirty utes have Limited Slip Differentials in them
synaesthesia Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Well it's Japanese after all. Spend half a day watching Japanese TV and you'll think that advert/promo looks rather tame and dull.
cromertech Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Does the fact that they've used two i make it doubly interactive or is it just lack of imagination or that Wii was already taken
CAM Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 I'm already seeing ways to cause untold amounts of offence to passers-by with that bodywork.
sted Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 isnt that the point of concept cars though to throw out wacky ideas and see what "sticks" then develop useful concepts into things that go into the next generation of cars?
benjie Posted December 6, 2011 Author Posted December 6, 2011 isnt that the point of concept cars though to throw out wacky ideas and see what "sticks" then develop useful concepts into things that go into the next generation of cars? I understand your point but surely there should be some realism and some possibility to it happening. Technology is anywhere near that yet and it certainly not in the near future. Anyway how much is that car going to cost, when it comes out? Surely no one be able to afford it.

Bmw made a car with a fabric skin and so on They make concepts for a few reasons. 1 keeps designers happy 2 show where the next/next next gen cars are headed 3 see if things they throw at them get a response good or bad 4 to see if something is possible
