Not a huge amount of new features tho.

Outlook mobile access, if you don't want to use activesync

and GAL separation, allowing you to assign certain address books to certain groups.

GAL Segmentation - what an excellent and hugely overdue feature!!!

 

where was this when I needed it at the school to keep the kids from seeing all the staff!

Will need to have a play with it on my Lab at home...

heh.. Don't have a problem with kids seeing the staff here, in fact we encourage it... Governors addresses on the other hand :p

 

FYI, there is an AD schema upgrade with this.

Cant find anything bout an AD schema ungrade in your links can you point me in the right direction please?

 

My attemted upgrade passed all the prerequesite checks but failled at install.

ah ok, I read that it required a schema upgrade on a website before the release notes were published. If they don't mention it then I wouldn't worry about it.
