svarcy07 Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Hi guys, Have been given a laptop at work with a Nova T6 error. Problem is I have no clue about Nova and have never worked on it so any help is appreciated. I'm getting the following when trying to run Nova T6 from within Sims (Sims works fine) Access violation at address 000B46DC in module 'NT6.EXE'. Read address of 00000000 Any ideas? Where can I find the Nova T6 installer etc? Cheers in advance.
PhilChambers Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Hi. Did you ever find a solution for this? I'm getting the same error and have no idea why. Thanks.
speckytecky Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Have you asked SIMS Support Tel: 08448938000 To date they have always been able to solve my SIMS issues.
Linfit Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 This looks like a permissions error. If you are running Nova from within SIMS using a network install does the user have the appropriate permissions on the SNova folder on the server ?
PhilChambers Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 The user has full write/modify access to the share on the server. It just always comes up saying Unable to load file and then the error above. I'll give the SIMS support line a call and see what they say.
Miscbrah Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Hi - was there any resolution to this? Getting the same thing happen...
Miscbrah Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Oh well just in case this turns up on search I changed permissions on sims.ini (at C:\Windows\sims.ini) to modify > %ppl who use it% and dished it out via GP. All works nice. 1
