Smart Notebook 10.8 and Word 2010 SP1

Hello all,

 

A user has reported a problem to me when copying and pasting items from Smart Notebook 10.8.364.0 to Microsoft Word 2010 SP1 x86, on Windows 7 SP1 x86.

 

Occasionally users will select Edit > Select All, Edit > Copy (within Smart Notebook), open Word 2010, right click and Paste.

 

Sometimes the copied images/text appear correctly in Word 2010, however sometimes X number of icons labelled filename.galleryitem appear instead. I've no idea why this is happening. Interestingly, double clicking the filename.galleryitem opens it in Smart Notebook, as it appears associated.

 

It would be interesting to know whether or not anyone else has experienced this before submitting it as a bug to Smart.
