End of an Era (Pt2!)

Today is my last day at the College.

 

After 3 years I am moving away from Suffolk, to Northamptonshire, for a better life! Moving in with the girlfriend and looking forward to the future.

 

After a quite awful early part of the year, life has turned around and optimism shines through me like so much sunshine through a stained-glass window!

 

I will be taking December off, to settle in and get ready for Christmas, before looking in earnest for a new job in the New Year.

 

Despite moving out of education (unless a nice job comes along!!) I will still be hanging around the forums and sticking my oar in!!

 

Woop woop! Only 7 hours to go!!!!

Don't know yet....

 

It's been difficult because I'm so far away (100 miles), so agencies aren't looking too closely, but they've said that once I'm down there, there will be lots of work about.

 

Don't know whether I want private or public sector, though, as I've enjoyed working in education....apart from the students.....and the lecturers.....

 

(That's a joke, by the way!!)
