DSGET alternative

Before I smash up my DC and other related servers in frustration trying to get a simple DSGET GROUP command working can someone point me in the right direction as to where someone has written a nice tool or script in which you enter the group name and it returns the user id and the full name of the user ?

For some reason dsget refuses to work on our domain even after a zillion attempts at changing the syntax. All I want is a simple user id and full name and DSGET cannot even get that right......AAAAAGHHHHH :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
