Has anyone else noticed the general hard drive price hikes, nearly doubling in price for the same reason, I think this will push people towards ssd and hopefully force the prices down and hopefully the technology forward for larger capacities!

mechanical storage still has its place, i dont see SSD's becoming large enough for a resonable cost in the short term to completely dominate the market.
