New CPU cooler. Some advice please

I wanted to know is that if you know of another decent affordable cooler suitable for a socket 1366 motherboard that comes with a mounting bracket.

For the price, Thermalright's HR-02 Macho (£43.66) is hard to beat. It is supplied with a very quiet 140mm fan and includes a socket 1366 bracket too.

Well, I took the plunge and purchased a brand spanking new.........Intel stock cooler.

It is quiet, keeps the processor cool and cost a bank breaking £4.76. It just goes to show, you can faff around too much I suppose.

I know I'm too late but Hyper Coolmaster Plus coolers are excellent, silent and cost around £20. My PC was overheating @80-90 degrees but with this installed the temps went back down to a steady 25~ degrees idling and 40~ at heavy load. Well worth buying IMO, only downside is the size of the heatsink - it's huge!
