Arrrggghhhhh! SOLVED!

You have to install the Nagios XI components first by clicking on the 'Login to Nagios XI' link, where it sets up the username and PW for you. Once done you can log out of Nagios XI and into Core using those details.

pleasecan you let me know with regards to my previous post/question as to whether you are still wanting this .vhd VM as I never got a reply the last time I posted; I have since left work but could finish it off here at home and get it uploaded...

 

Hmm. I sure I did reply, but yes please. Can you set it for DHCP as well or will you want a static ip? If so please use 192.168.1.101/255.255.255.0

ok, no problem ill set it up for dhcp ubuntu works well with the hyperv synthetic drivers so just import the vhd into hyperv and it will work perfectly with dhcp, I will PM u the local user/ root password etc and also send you the steps i used to install it should you require them for your article
