ghostcyber Posted November 7, 2011 Author Posted November 7, 2011 iirc plug in serial lead load hyperterminal and connect then just follow what it says iirc but its been a while hyper term gives this. NetGear GSM7224 Boot code.... Flash = 8MB Testing 64MB SDRAM ******************************* .............................. is my hub toast?
DAZZD88 Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 If it stays on that indefinitely then itmay be. Then again it could be like the HP ProCurve I broke last week. Stupidly enough there were no warnings to tell me that wiping both the primary and secondary flash areas would result in the switch not booting or seeming not even being able to create a serial connection...who'd have known? Lol. Luckily the ProCurve was fixed by uploading the latest software version after following a couple of steps. Maybe your Netgear needs a similar routine performing on it. To find out, you'd have to scour the internet for the answer.
