vikpaw Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Great, thanks. We really need the answer to question 2.
GrumbleDook Posted October 25, 2011 Author Posted October 25, 2011 Still writing up part 2 but have been sending a few questions around to some ASEs and folk at Apple just to make sure I haven't missed stuff. I'd rather get it right first time than have to spend a lot of time picking apart some of the mistakes where I haven't got things quite right.
Sean-OC04 Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Large deployments of iPads rarely involve Apple with the technical side of the deployment, they just do not have the people numbers in Europe to do this. Whilst Apple are involved they tend to be the visionary part of the scheme.Typically a consultancy is employed working with lots of other agencies to deploy major 1:1 roll out programs. If you need some specific info I would suggest contacting the firm below, who were heavily involved in Longfield Academy..9ine Procures iPads for Every Student | 9ine
vikpaw Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I just came across this article with regards to licensing for multi-user / multi-device environments. https://support.assistiveware.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=50
