Access Reading Tests Issues

We have had Access Reading test from Hodder for a few years and it's always a pain every year to get working if we have reinstalled etc. This year it just plain refuses to load at all. We get as far as selecting the birthday and student name and then it seems to freeze every time, on different PCs, clean install, no restrictions, full admin etc etc. Anyone tackling this as well? Any known updates ? There is certainly no real support website for it and a request form has been filled in by the technician on one site, but I wont hold my breath on that one.

This is on XP as well so no silly windows 7 issues or anything. Any ideas?

We got to the bottom of it in the end. It doesn't like something about office 2007 as it uses one of the DLLs to access the access database.

How did you resolve it then?

I think we got an upgraded version of ART at the time.
