I present to you the asset register I spent a few days working on :)

Automatically adjusts dates based on when something was bought and how long is left in renewal cycle (based on a renewal cycle of 1 - 7 years depending on object)

Automatically calculates monthly and yearly depreciation based on starting value and the estimated value you assign at the end of the renewal cycle

Has 5 "Conditions" - New, Good, Aging, Old, Must Replace

Has 4 "Status" - In Use, Scrapped, Spares and Repairs, To Be Scrapped

Has 61 "Vendors" - Acer, HP, IBM, Toshiba etc

Has "Conditional Filter" - Narrows down items by Brand, Model, Date etc

It is based on Excel 2010 so you must have the compatibility pack and is located in the link below

Just to say we have just introduced the spreadsheet at the school and last week we recieved our first financial audit as an academy. The auditors were shown our processes and procedures and were very impressed with the spreadsheet functionality.

@nephilim - Thanks for sharing this, it ticks all the boxes and then more :)

I was wondering if it is still possible to have a copy of your asset register please.

If not that is fine, I will continue my search.

Thanks in advance
