mats Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I have a wireless box called (for the sake of argument) boxa. It has a dhcp reservation (2008r2) with the correct mac address at 10.2.112.51. When I ping boxa (by hostname) from the DC, it pings 10.2.112.52. It's only out by 1 ffs! Tried ipconfig/flushdns Any other ideas? Many thanks, Mat
apeo Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Is the wireless box actually getting its ip though? and have you tried pinging by ip i.e. 10.2.112.51? Sounds like possible dns error, have you cheked dns?
mats Posted October 11, 2011 Author Posted October 11, 2011 No dns errors. I've run out of time, going to set the ips statically on the wireless boxes. Thanks for looking.
