Can someone with DFS \ Exchange 2010 do me a favour?

We're moving to Exchange 2010 and shifting file servers in the near future and I'm just deciding whether to use DFS for our team shared areas. Was all for DFS then realised that OWA's direct file access might not be bright enough to access DFS shares (works fine with direct UNC path)

 

I read a few docs that suggest you can connect to the root but not the direct path to the folders so if anyone has this combo running any chance of trying it out?

 

Will be doing something similar on our isolated test network but any input would make life a lot easier
