Cools Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 we have a student here what needs to have MS Word load with a yellow background on the page. i have set the BG colour in the template re opened word and it stays white and have had no success. i have created a macro that changes the colour, But when you open up a new word after creating the macro it does not change the colour but does set it in the Format > background to yellow and/but the page stays white.. what else can i do to get it to work. i have tested on office 2003 and 2010.. nothing works.. Thanks..
glennda Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 make a template and call it normal.dot and then replace the file when word is closed in the profile - it should then pick up the template

glennda Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 which template did you replace? and have you got word getting templates from the network. I've just tested here with 2010 and it works.
Cools Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 normal.dot was replace as it has to be yellow on load.. i have set macros to change it to yellow .. and a macro to load a yellow template.. it always starts white..
