mac_shinobi Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 (edited) Am selling my 2008 Mac Pro - am open to reasonable offers but am looking around the £1900 ONO 2 * 2.8 Ghz Quad Core Xeons 18Gb of RAM ( 2gb default + 16gb OWC Kit ) 320 Gb Apple HDD Airport Extreme Wi Fi Card Bluetooth Card Nvidia 8800 GT Graphics Card Apple bluetooth keyboard Apple Magic Mouse OWC RAM has a long warranty and was purchased directly from memoryc.com ( who will deal with any warranty claims etc and have original reciepts for these items ) Apple care expired end of august but it was tested before it expired in the MK apple store which passed all tests. Prefer collection or buyer to arrange courier if preffered but with couriers being heavy handed etc would be better to collect. Thought that there may be a college / school etc that may need an OS X Server possibly ?? Long shot anyway - will be posting it up on ebay later on tonight and can edit this and post a link to that which will include pics etc Open to reasonable offers - honest reason for sale as need to buy a new car Can sell the RAM and the Mac Pro seperately. If sold seperately , then the Mac Pro will have 2Gb RAM ( default apple ram ) and looking for about £1400 ONO Edit 16gb OWC RAM Kit was £455 new and has only been in my Mac Pro for literally a few months ( no more then 3 ), so around the £440 mark ONO for the 16gb RAM kit by itself ? Which still leaves one 8gb kit ( 2 * 4gb of ram ) which I have for £210 ONO which I feel is fair.

I cant check atm as I am on my phone in the sticks and lucky to get any sort of connection! 12 people watching the mac pro with a counter offer which I did not accept - have adjusted from having 2gb to having 10gb but can adjust this back to having 2gb for less then £1200 otherwise with the 10gb of ram want £1,200 ovno The RAM has only one watcher, have put both on buy now with best offer option. Other then that nothing at the min. Have not put the icy dock or the max upgrades sled on ebay yet but most likely will originally purchased icy dock from scan.co.uk for aprox £21 and will sell that at around £15 ono and the max upgrades cost me about £50 so will sell that at around £40 ono selling all of the items for genuine reason(s) as need a new car after the new baby to the family. edit - you know anyone who may be interested ? mac_shinobi Posted October 12, 2011 Author Posted October 12, 2011 Just as an update - have adjusted the ebay listing so that it has the full amount of RAM of 18gb and excludes keyboard and mouse. £1200 O.N.O - currently listed as £1300 but appreicate that it is a few years old without any apple care and only has the 320gb drive etc so am willing to go down on price.
