I have a 512mb board, at home....Dvi output x 2 .... ATi Sapphire 1800XL (I think!) Doesn't seem to want to work with my new moboard. (That'll probably be cos it's about 6 years old! Doesn't time fly???) I'd be happy to let you have it at mate's rates, and if it didn't work, give a refund.
chazzy2501 Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 you can run almost any card PCIE x16 in a 1x slot. You can buy an adaptor or modify the socket to allow you to plug your card in!. like this: LinITX.com - PCI Express X1 to X16 Extender The card of course won't run as well.
Abaddon Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 It needs to work with Windows 7 64-bit, so I think the old card is unlikley to have drivers - thanks anyway I'll try one of those adaptors though! I've got a KFA2 MDT x4 card, but it won't seem to do a 3*1 line up as it states in the blurb, so I'm back to a x16 dual-dvi card, and finding some way of adding the thrid monitor. What a pain.
