Redirected Desktops not loading fully

Hi,

 

We use redirected desktops for all users but for 1 user the redirected desktop appears but none of the icons are available. It just gives the standard missing link icons and won't open anything up. All the applications are installed and exactly the same as every other machine.

 

Any idea why this happening?

can they see and access the area that all the short-cuts are pointing to? Tried clearing the users profile?

They don't have direct access to C:\, but no users do. They can access the network share no problem though.

 

What do you mean by clearing the users profile?

Do you use mandatory or oraming profiles for your users? If it's a roaming one delete the server copy it will be re-created during the next logon/logoff/logon cycle

Also, you may want to check to see what security groups your users are members of. You may find that this one user is having issues due to not being a member of a certain group. I had to do it this morning as a matter of fact because of a slight oversight.
