Normally it's down to permissions.

 

Right click their folder and choose 'Properties'.

 

Click the 'Sharing' tab, > 'Permissions' and make sure 'Full Control' is ticked.

 

Click on the 'Security' tab and make sure the pupil has 'Full Control' here too.

 

In Active Directory, right click a user and choose 'Properties'. On the 'Profile' tab, make sure the home directory path is correct \\SERVER\SHARE$ for example.

issued sorted it was down to us have two directrys open and active the od account had a diffrent password and wouldnt allow them to access their docs reset password works fine now
