Standalone macbook administration

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Just got the first macbook out with a teacher and she's reporting that she's being prompted for the admin logon to do all sorts of basic things.

I've got her set so she can't administer the machine, my biggest fear is the wireless key finding it's way into general knowledge.

Is there any good way of achieving both?

Edit: ignore me! it seems once the key has been accepted you can't view it again

Once the wireless key is added, it should stay there, you are only prompted for admin password when trying to change settings or install ect, so she must be trying to do something you dont want her to.
