[ms office - 2007] Outlook 2007 discrepancies

Just had an email about this and hope someone could shed some light as i gotta look at it first thing tomorrow morning.

 

There are several discrepancies between the outlook version and the web version.

 

The inbox on the web version shows 5 messages, the outlook version shows 4325 items

 

The sent items on the web version shows 1432 messages, the outlook version shows 56 items

 

We're running exchange 2003

just looked at the computer. Using outlook its not picking up the Microsoft Exchange account. But wont let me add the account as it cant find the mail server. (mine working fine and so the other person in the office) Any ideas?

Will this have anything to do with it?

 

Error messages when you try to connect Outlook 2007 to Exchange Server: "The action cannot be completed" or "Your Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable" or "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook"

That didnt work. Will try updating office. Just noticed its running no SP's :/

Turn cached mode off, and see if its the outlook profile data stored in the local profile?

Done that. Installed SP2 for office and it has seem to have worked... Will Update if it does wrong. But thanks for getting back.
