just a quick question. I have just seen these on the web and im going to get a set for home.

 

Does anyone know if they will work in a bog standard extension lead like this?

They don't recommend but I stream iPlayer to my TV and it's fine. I guess they are just covering themselves. You can get them with pass-through 13a sockets.

I have some Delovo units using the powerline standard and they work fine plugged into extensions. It may well depend on the state of your house wiring though.

Thanks. I want to be able to stream movies and music from my NAS box to my PS3. I know you can get the passthrough type but they are generally more expensive than this triple pack.

 

EDIT: The house is a fairly modern build. Its within the last 8ish years i think. the wiring should be fine.

Ordered the 85mb ones for my folks, seemed to work well enough although I didn't test how close to the 85 they were performing. I run my delovo 11mb ones at home though all kinds of extensions (at various times) and they've always worked - even the 30 odd meters down to the shed!

BT issue similar ones out to BT Vision customers, for streaming video, and I use my pair for streaming video etc... They work just fine, even in the Victorian house i'm living in now.

I got two belkin ones and they would only work straight into the main wall sockett so double check on some reviews of the model you are buying.
