Remoting to 2k8 from 2k3 or xp

I'm confused because I'm sure I've remoted to it from somewhere but wondering if that was a vista machine. Is there anyway of connecting? I need to shut it down so it can be transported over to this building.

Try downloading the latest version of remote desktop for XP.

 

Failing that you need to change some setting on the 2k8 server. Computer > Properties > Remote Settings > Change the setting to 'Allow Connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop'.
