FN-GM Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Hello, When i am applying for jobs, what should be included in a cover letter please? Many Thanks Z
witch Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 A cover letter should be a bit of an introduction to you and also an expansion of why you feel you are suitable for the job - exactly how you fit the job spec and a little bit of self-promotion! It expands the data heavy, factual CV and adds a personal angle to it. The covering letter puts flesh on the bare bones of the CV. It points out to the employer the information showing that you have the qualities the job calls for, and makes a statement about yourself and your suitability for the job. 1
