ts remote server farm app issue

struggling with this one:

Server 2008 standard - got sims as a TS remote app - worked fine on a single server.

got a farm of 3 going now using round robin dns for load balancing using 3 entries for farm1 corresponding to 3 member servers- that works fine.

Problem is when staff connect to farm - farm1.wvcc.leics.sch.uk they are getting prompted to put credentials in for the individual server on the farm before remote app will launch. Even if I put credentials in credential manager for individual servers as well as farm1 it will prompt for login. Have ticked do not ask about connections to farm1 after I launch first time.

 

Have configured session broker - all are member of farm and under TS remote app manager - terminal server settings have got clients will connect to Farm1.wvcc.leics.sch.uk and got globalsign wildcard certificate installed.

 

Sims will launch and work ok after credentials entered but what am I missing? - same if on logged on domain or locally on staff laptop. Any help much appreciated have tried everything i can think of,

Do you have a TS Gateway?

There was/is an issue with TS and TS gateways where you must login with {DOMAIN}\{USERNAME}

We used UAG and if staff did not login with the domain prefix they would be prompted as well. I modified the routine in UAG to add the domain but I didnt find a way to force TS to prefix the domain itself.

Not using ts gateway on this - have tried using domain\username but still get the prompt for individual servers - guessing its something to do with not trusting/recognising the farm name but struggling to find an answer.

I've seen this is 4 different networks - the sessions broker/load balancer does not pass through the authentication (ntlm) properly.

looking at DT2's link - have tried some of this already on staff laptops - ntlm but will try changing settings to see if it makes any difference.
