Technology Services Manager

I require a Technology Services Manager for a large independent school in North West London. This prestigious education establishment has three schools catering to 1100 pupils and over 150 teachers and staff. The school itself is very old and established as one of the best in the country and is going through change which the technology Services Manager will have a pivotal role within. This includes new buildings and networks and the change (which is already underway) from one Major MIS system to another. You will be expected to have a strong managerial and technical skills as we as excellent understanding of educational issues from a strategic point of view. This is an excellent school with lots going on and would suit probably a graduate with at least 2+ years experience of network management within a large secondary school leading a team of technicians and with budgetary responsibilities

 

Key area's of experience/interest include:

 

MIS implementation and development

Strong infrastructure management and development

VLE development

Some Budgetary and ICT strategic responsibilities

Curriculum understanding and assistance

Technical management of administration

Staff Development

 

Salary hasn't been determined as yet but is likely to be commensurate with experience and the responsibilities of the role. Potentially between around £40-50K, this agent would imagine.
