Students can save their documents to local my documents? XP

New year new problem!

 

We had a few synchronising issues over the summer so I think some of my GPOs have disappeared from our AD.

As a result at the moment when students click on the my documents on their start menu they are linked to their local profile and save them there, not good.

Can someone tell me what I need to do to stop this via GPO. Can I hide the my documents on the start menu or redirect it to their network home drive?

your folder redirection is not being applied

You may be right! It seems that a few reboots has helped some of the computers. I may well do a forced reboot at lunch.

you might also want to check if the time is correct on the workstations as i have had problems with gpos not applying due to time being out ,i now run a script on startup that syncs the time to the dc and my gpo woes have gone
