[ms office - 2010] Could not open

Hello,

 

Anyone able to assist with this nightmare. Users when trying to open documents (Word, PowerPoint, or Excel) from Network User Space (which they have modify permission of get the following error in Office 2010.

 

 

 

I have tried disabling trusted locations & protected view etc with no joy.

Is this on one machine, or a few machines?

 

I only ask because I had a PC using Office 2010 that struggled with it's fonts - basically when an error message came up, instead of text I could see boxes and random characters, and the user was unable to open the document. I ended up running repair on Office, which fixed that problem on that PC :os
