I've been looking for a couple of days now, but can't seem to find a concrete answer anywhere. What I want to know is, is there a disto of Linux for Intel (Atom) based tablets yet? And if so, where are they? I currently have a W7 based tablet in the office and the W7 touch controls are, as many of you know, dire and would like to see if there is anything I could put on there to make it useable.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The intel atom is based on the x86 family so you should find most linux distributions will work on the hardware. I recommend one tailored to that style of screen so a variant like JoliOS (based on ubuntu), Meego (Experimental but neat looking! though development from Intel may of just halted), Ubuntu 11.04+ (as it inherited the netbook interface i.e unity) or try out Hexxehs ChromeOS (should work on the hardware if you want completely cloudly).
