[sims] Running reports on next year's timetable for data extract

I am using the Roombooking system software and want to import the timetable from Sims with their helpfully provided report which interrrogates the rooms fields. However I don't get any details out and I'm told that this is because the new timetable won't take effect until wednesday when the students are back in school. i would really like to have the booking system all ready to go before then. I've tried changing the effective date on the report but to no avail. Does anyone know how to make sims think it is nexrt week? This problem seems to come up in several things these days.

Probably a bit late now, but i've fooled some parts of sims by changing the date on the server, BUT this should NEVER be done on the live server in case something you do leaves some trace / audit log behind and things would get confused. If you had a test server you could perhaps mess around a little.

Most reports i've seen should work if you put the date forward, assuming the timetable is applied and everything else works okay. Maybe you can try designing your own report in case that makes a difference.
