Little-Miss Posted August 30, 2011 Author Posted August 30, 2011 Its plugged in the back. Panicing as ive got 9 of these to setup and it looks like it does it on other machines too!! The only other usb device plugged in is a mouse!

SYNACK Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Hmmm, weird I'd try the powered USB hub to make sure. Is it on the same cable the laptop was, not a longer one tacked to the wall possibly suspectly by a butcher of an electrician - sorry projecting

Either way it should hopefully be cleaned up by isolating it on a nice dumb hub that can blindly chug on unaware of anything complex like current.

Some PCs especially SFF ones can haveweak USB power systems and education stuff is notorious for barely meeting spec. Besides if you have it on a long cable this will chew a bunch of power all by itself. 1
