Hi Guys, this one seems to be peckng my head lol.

My PC has two IP addresses one that was originally set by DHCP (now in the exceptions list 172.16.x.x), plus also a fixed IP in the 192.168.x.x range (both IPs are set on the same subnet mask). I have a QNAP NAS box which has two lan ports which one I configured to a 172.16.x.x and also a 192.168.x.x address. I can see the drive by \\image and the created folder shares appear no problems, but using the QNAP finder, it scans and finds the box, but when you try to connect which fires up the admin page, an error appears teliing me the server (NAS box and PC) are not on the same subnet....

Bizzare happenings..... Can anybody please kindly throw some suggestions at me (the harder the better lol)

UPDATE: I think this could be a DNS resolve issue with QNAP finder as if I put the IP address in the broswer, the admin page opens up :) so no worries now - cheers
